Biography —
Sadra Gerami graduated from Columbia University with an M.S. in Neuroscience and Education, and from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Neuroscience. He is primarily interested in the interaction between adverse childhood experiences and the onset of childhood anxiety, as well as the role of parenting practices in the in the development of psychopathology in childhood and adolescence, particularly internalizing disorders. Sadra's previous research involved using EEGs to analyze changes in ERPs during parallel individuation and numerical approximation tasks. Additionally, he has clinical experience implementing evidence-based treatments to successfully reduce behaviors observed in juvenile offenders. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, writing, and spending time with friends and family.
