Biography

Hannah Hunter is a 6th year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of Tennessee. She is currently completing her predoctoral internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in the clinical child track. She is primarily interested in the interaction between parenting practices and childhood anxiety, as well as the role of emotion regulation in the development of internalizing disorders. Hannah’s previous research involved cross-cultural collaborations between several countries, focusing on emotion regulation and proactive parenting in a developmental context. Additionally, she has clinical experience implementing evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents, and is currently a PCIT-certified therapist. In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading and spending time with her cat.
