What Can Scientists Learn from Moms?
It turns out, a lot!

We are looking for English-speaking, monolingual mothers with a child aged 7-9 years to participate in a research study on intergenerational anxiety at the University of Kansas.
You and your child will
- Visit our lab at the KU Lawrence campus for one three-hour session.
- Complete questionnaires and tasks on a computer.
- Work on activities while we record brain activtiy.
Researchers will
- Fit participants with a cap with electrodes to monitor brain waves.
- Administer questions, tasks, and activities.
- Observe behavior and record information.

NOTE: Questions could cause embarrassment, stress, or discomfort, computer tasks could cause frustration, tiredness, sadness, or boredom, and EEG cap and gel can cause physical discomfort and potentially allergic reactions, though rare.
